LO to classify animals
6N worked in small teams to sort the animals by creating their own classification keys.
In English, we were investigating the character Vita from our class reader - The Good Thieves.  6N wrote their own questions to ask Vita, and children took it in turns to be in the Hot Seat - answering questions as Vita.
In PSHE, we were given the challenge to collaborate in a group to produce a bridge with scrap paper, scissors and tape...and a time limit (10 minutes!).  Well done 6N - you collaborated brilliantly.  You listened to one another's ideas and made sure everyone had a role in the team.
6N studied different plant life and sorted them into groups according to their characteristics.  We then learned about the four plant groups - ferns, mosses, phanerogams and algae.
In PSHE, 6N have been learning to show respect and celebrate one another for their differences.
