Maths

We had great fun in maths taking part in the 'One Minute Challenge' today! We found out how many times we could do actions such as starjumps and catching a beanbag, all in just one minute. We were very tired at the end of our challenge!

Happy St George's Day! We had lots of fun in the sunshine celebrating St George's Day. Our celebrations included a lunchtime picnic and a cream tea in the afternoon.

We had an amazing time when the Rainbow Factory visited us today! First of all we had an interactive performance of 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and then did lots of exciting activities in the workshops that followed. We finished by choosing our favourite story characters and making them in salt dough!

Penalty Shoot Out

We had a great time today scoring penalties against Billy Bantam today for our Penalty Shoot Out. We had some fantastic shots on goal and are hoping that we have raised lots of money from our sponsor forms!

We have loved working in small groups to role-play the story of 'The Three Little Pigs.' We hope you enjoy watching our videos as much as we enjoyed making them!

Maths

We have enjoyed playing snakes and ladders today to practise counting on with numbers up to 100 today. We loved it when we landed on the bottom of a ladder, but weren't so happy when we had to slide down a snake!

Sports Day

We had an amazing first Sports Day at Blakehill this morning. We loved taking part in all the races cheered on by our families. We all tried our very best and were great sports!

A special visit from Billy Bantam today to present Harveen with her signed Bradford City football. We are very proud as she managed to raise the most money of any pupil at Blakehill for our penalty shoot out, £190! Well done Harveen!

What a fabulous end of term Fun Day! We had a brilliant time on the bouncy castle and inflatable slide. As if that wasn't enough fun we then all had an ice-cream as an extra treat!
