Science/Oracy
LO - understand what plants need to grow.
We looked outside around the school grounds and found plants that were growing well and plants that weren't growing well at all. We looked at their positions and thought about where plants grow best and what they need to be healthy.
We discussed this in an oracy lesson too!
ART- Sculpture

Our finished dinosaur eye sculptures!
Computing
This term in computing we are going to be learning all about branching databases. We played a game where we chose an object and the other person had to ask a yes/no question to find out what we were thinking!
Computing- branching databases

Today we had a go at making our own branching databases. We asked yes/ no questions about the attributes of the things we wanted to sort. It was quite tricky.

We have been learning how to do maypole dancing!
This is part of our celebrations for the Coronation.
Coronation celebrations!

We had ice creams too.

PSHCE
LO- Understand how talents are grown by practising skills.
Today we talked about our talents and how we have to really try hard and practise if we are to be really successful.
We mimed our talents to the class and then guessed what we were all good at.
Science- Parts of plants
We went outside to look for leaves. We compared them and looked at them carefully. We will be learning about photosynthesis, and how plants make their own food.
