Mind in Bradford

Youth in Mind - Youth in Mind is a partnership of eight mental and emotional wellbeing organisations supporting children, young people, and their families from age 5-19 (up to 25 with additional needs), across Bradford District and Craven. They are passionate about early intervention and promoting effective, accessible, strengths-based and outcomes-focussed approaches.

Know you Mind - Know Your Mind supports children and young people in the Bradford central locality who are experiencing challenges around mental and emotional wellbeing through a mix of one to one and group work, within a 6 week programme. They also provide training to workforces to help school staff feel resourced and confident to talk about mental health with young people. This service is available to children, young people and families who live or are registered at a GP or attend school in one of the following postcodes: BD1, BD2, BD3, BD5, BD7, BD8 or BD9.

Be You, Be Me, Be Well - A new 1-1 support service for children/young people aged 5-13 living across Bradford District & Craven offering a blend of face to face, telephone and digital interventions to support those children/young people with low to medium mental health needs.

Place2Be            

The Mental Health Champions course - For all teachers interested in upskilling in mental health. It is a 5 week free online course. It take 1-1.5 hours for a session. 93% feel that the course has increased their capacity to lead a positive approach to mental health and wellbeing.

The Senior Mental Health Leads training - A 12 week programme. A grant is available from the department of education to fund the course.

Kooth 

Kooth is a transformational digital mental health support service. It gives children and young people easy access to an online community of peers and a team of experienced counsellors.

Kooth has no referrals or waiting lists, and Young people can access this service anonymously by signing onto the Kooth website.
