It was a fantastic weekend, the team carried themselves so well and were fantastic ambassadors, both for the school and for the North. Even after the result - seeing the way they looked out for one another and supported each other was heartening and showed the true character of a team that has been nutured and developed. #TeamBlakehill

What an amazing weekend it was.  A huge thank you to you Mr Lumb for all the amazing opportunities you have given these children. The memories, experiences, and confidence they have gained along the way are priceless, and I know they will never forget them.

So proud of you all

This young man joined Blakehill in Year 4, straight from Bangladesh with little/ no English. What started out as a boy at the sidelines, observing activities at break and lunchtime soon became a recognition of his sporting talents.
In May 2026, this boy scored the onle school goal for Bradford at Wembley in the Utilita Cup Final.

Blakehill: making dreams come true!
Being the only female on the U11's football team didn't phase this young lady. With grit and determination and a whole load of encouragement and support from her teammates she made her dreams come true at Wembley 2026.

Teamwork makes the dream work!
Cross Country Champions

We are a trail-blazing school when it comes to cross country events, whether it's hosting intra and inter cross country events for children across the district to competing locally and nationally.

With no prior running experience, this young man was placing high in many events before gaining a place at the national primary school cross country final in Coventry in April 2026.
Scouted by a keen runner, he now runs with Bingley Harriers.

What a superstar!
