Iftar
We held our first ever community Iftar at Blakehill in 2026. It was great to see so many children, their families, staff, governors and friends come together to share food, prayer and games.
Rainbow Room
It is our aim at Blakehill to ensure that we all feel a sense of belonging - a safe place where we are encouraged and nurtured. The children who access Rainbow Room provision are no exception!
Learning through exploration, play and enjoyment.
" The two members of staff within the Rainbow Room were amazing, the provision is top notch. I have never been to a setting that is so inclusive. I witnessed bucket and choosing time. A real credit to school"
A quote from a member of Bradford SCiL team after a visit to Rainbow Room in June 2026
Brownlee Foundation Triathlon
Blakehill Primary School fully supports the Brownlee Foundation - Inspiring children from all backgrounds to enjoy sport, encouraging them to lead active lifestyles and benefit from the opportunities that sport provides. The sheer look of exhilaration on their faces demonstrate the sense of achievement our children experience following their participation in the annual triathlon event.
We love to welcome parents and carers into school. Whether its supporting learning activities, taking part in obstacle courses and sporting events or attending visits we are one team at Blakehill!
Parent/ Carer feedback
We value or parent and carer feedback - it helps us to get better and better for Blakehill children and their families.
Thank you for your lovely coomments.
"As xxxx’s time at the school comes to an end, I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for everything you and the staff have done during his journey here. The school has provided him with so much more than an education. It has been a place where he has grown in confidence, developed lasting friendships, discovered new opportunities, and created memories that he will carry with him for years to come. Your leadership has helped create a supportive, inspiring, and ambitious environment where students are encouraged to achieve their potential both academically and personally. We have been particularly grateful for the many opportunities available beyond the classroom, which have played such an important role in shaping his experience and helping him grow as a young person. As parents, it has been wonderful to see him thrive, and we know that the dedication, care, and commitment of the staff have contributed enormously to that. We are especially thankful for the encouragement and belief shown in him throughout his time at the school. Thank you for your leadership, your dedication to the students, and for helping to create such a positive and memorable school experience. We leave with many happy memories and immense appreciation for all that the school has given our son. With heartfelt thanks and best wishes," Year 6 parent July 2026
