Pupils' Home Learning

The wonderful work of 5R
I have been so impressed by the examples of work that pupils have been sending me and I really wanted to share it so I have created this page to showcase the learning that pupils and families have been doing at home. You are doing an amazing job and I am really proud of you for the efforts that have been put into the examples of work that have been set.
Each time I receive a message with photographs of your work it really makes me smile so please keep sending them to me!
Keep up the hard work 5R and stay safe!
Mrs Russell :)
This lovely e-safety poster (of which I love the sparkles) was sent in by Harriet.
Liam hasn't wasted any time getting stuck in with our new tasks from our class page. He has a produced a piece of artwork depicting an Anglo Saxon (not to be mistaken for Percy Jackson Liam) warrior. Well done Liam. Thank you for sharing this with us.
I am super impressed by how hard Charlie worked on Monday! He has completed all of these tasks from the new work set on our class page.
I love how he has used similes in his description of the Northern Lights and how he has done a detailed diagram of the science investigation!
It was such a clever idea to recycle his Dad's old clipboard to make his flower!
Keep up the great work Charlie!
Harriet has been having a go at some of the tasks in our home learning pack. She has created a wonderful piece of art work using the "new drawing experience" task. Well done Harriet! I can't wait to see what else you can create!
Thank you Lily for sharing some of the work you have been doing at home! Lily and her sister made a flower each to add to the collection on our school fence, which is now starting to look very colourful!
Lily has also been thinking about light sources for our Science topic - ordering objects in to the categories of light sources and non-light sources. Well done Lily :)
Liam has been very busy concentrating on the Science activities set and doing some baking! Well done Liam!
Harriet had at go at dying eggs as part of her Easter project
Thank you so much to Zach for sending these photos of his piece of writing he has completed for the writing competition I really enjoyed reading it and I am so glad that you enjoyed writing it as much as you did!
Liam enjoyed making his endangered animals project about the turtles so much that he adopted a turtle!
Well done Max for completing the Spring Bank Holiday project. I love the animal that you chose to focus on and I am really pleased that you have been enjoying watching The Secret Life of the Zoo!
Thank you for sharing with us what you have been up to Nicholas! I had a sneaky feeling you may have been spending some of your time at home creating some amazing pieces of art work! The COVID 19 time capsule booklets are fabulous and I am hope a few others in the class have completed one of these as well!
Thank you Lily for sending us these lovely pictures of the bunting you have been creating ahead of the VE Day celebrations on Friday! I am sure everyone who walks past your house will love seeing it all!
Harley has been very busy this week completing the maths challenges and some of the science investigations.
Harley has made his own pinhole camera and been having fun with the magic drawing experiment.

Well done Harley, keep up the great work.
A huge well done to Gurneet and thank you for sending in a photograph of your completed coded 100 square! I am really impressed that you were able to work out a logical method to solve this tricky task!
Thank you Lily for your video to tell us all of  your Easter eggs facts!
Have a look at Zach's powerpoint for his Easter project! He found out some amazing facts about Easter and Easter eggs!
Max found out some facts about the history of Easter eggs and why we celebrate Easter. He also decorated a hard boiled egg.
