World Ocean Day

World Ocean Day takes place on 8th June. Take a look at the activities on the website above. Choose the 'Dive Into Resources' and select your age group. You can choose anything from 'How to breathe like a dolphin' to 'Why is the sea salty?'.

Please choose something that interests you and present it in a way of your choice to show your learning eg poster, animation, a short paragraph or a short video. I would love to see your work, so ask your grown up at home to e-mail me.

You choose, the ocean is your oyster!

Well done for taking part in the last battle against 3R.
The scores at the end of the battle were

Take a look at the video on BBC Bitesize to help you understand prefixes.
Then read through the powerpoint and complete the work.
We have been practising our phonics in class this year. It is always a good idea to refresh yourself with the sounds and spellings of words.
Use the Phonics Play website to enjoy interactive games.

Take a virtual tour of Stonehenge and find out lots of interesting facts about the stones.
Then recreate and build Stonehenge using biscuits! You can choose which biscuits you want to use, these could be custard creams, bourbons or any other biscuits you think will work to create a realistic recreation.

Why not create sunset or daytime silhouettes to sit behind your Stonehenge!

Don't forget to e-mail me pictures!

English - Apostrophes for possession.
Take a look at the powerpoint and BBC Bitesize
https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zvwwxnb/articles/zx9ydxs to give you information on ow to use a possessive apostrophe.

An apostrophe can be used to show that one thing belongs to or is connected to something. This is called a possessive apostrophe.

Use the worksheet to draw or write which category the animals belong to.
