Geography schemes of work
In order to ensure clear progression of skills and knowledge throughout school we have created schemes of work. These outline the key knowledge and skills children will learn and sequences the building of knowledge. This enables us to ensure that we have a high quality, engaging curriculum that supports children to accommodate new knowledge in the context of what they already know. We firmly believe that this is the way to successfully equip children to retain knowledge, develop a love for geography and become armed with geographic skills such as map reading that will prepare them for life.
